Hello, my friends. I'd just like to talk about an amazing experience of mine: Going to see Motley Crue and Sick Puppies live at Cheyenne Frontier Days, one of the few things Cheyenne, Wyoming is known for these days.
When I arrived at Frontier Park, it was packed. I was waiting in line for at least an hour before I got my armband. I didn't really have a "seat;" I was standing at the "Party Zone." Oh-so-conveniently, a drunk old guy was standing next to me, and I frequently stepped away from him, as I feared he was going to pour his beer on me.
Before the concert started, I was totally stoked to learn that the radio hosts of the hard-rock station "93.7 Kazy" were holding a contest. They picked four people from their radio-sweepstakes and brought them onstage. Who ever won the contest was to be given a rare guitar signed by every member of Motley Crue, in addition to a 500-dollar gift card to a music store. The contest was actually rather fun to watch; the contestants were to take an egg and slam it against their heads. If the egg was hard-boiled, they won. I couldn't help but laugh when they all slammed the eggs against their heads, as all of them cracked and made a mess on the poor contestants' heads. Luckily, the cast at 93.7 had another pack of eggs, and the guitar was won by a lucky adult woman.

After around thirty minutes of waiting, the spine-tingling sound of guitar notes erupted the night air, and when I looked at the stage, the beastly band "Sick Puppies" was up there, kicking it off with their hit-song "War." The band really kicked some major ass out there; they did an excellent job of getting everyone pumped and excited for the band everyone came to see; Motley Crue.
After Sick Puppies was done, they changed the display boards to a form of chatroom. You texted the number onscreen, and your message would show up on it. They were full of vulgarity, so I guess it was a good thing they added censors for most of it. I, being the ass that I am, decided to text "I lost the game!" to the number. I felt very happy and accomplished for the rest of the concert.
After a long, long wait, the chilling sound of explosions pounded my ears, and the curtains concealing the stage flew down revealing the 70's metal band Motley Crue. They sounded and performed just like they did in the 70's, and I loved every minute of it. They performed all of their hit songs, such as "Dr. Feelgood" and "Girls, Girls, Girls," until they finished off with the legendary song "Smokin' in the boy's room." Midway, the drummer performed upside down. Literally. The whole drumset started moving back and forth in a circular motion, until it eventually stopped upside-down in midair. When he was done kicking ass upside-down, the drumset moved back down, and everyone thought that he was done. He wasn't. He picked a random girl from the crowd and strapped her into a seat, and before long both of them were upside down. How much more badass can you get? The concert lasted until midnight.
On the ride home, I felt quite happy. I made a large crowd lose the game, I got to stare at the oh-so-sexy bassist for Sick Puppies, and I rediscovered my love for Motley Crue.
