Been almost... Holy crap, I think a week since my last Blog. If not a week, something. I just suck at math...

I'm sure you've all seen these 4 Topics, right? They're the "Big 3" for debating; Religion, Sexual Orientation, [currently] Gay Marriage, and Politics.
They all tie into one another, really: Religion gets into the affairs of Gay Marriage and Abortion, which are both controlled by Politics, due to how a candidate/office holder sees fit. This, in turn, mars many peoples ways of life, because their few choices have put them into a 'questionable' status.

Ever notice how both Religion and the Government stick their noses into places they have no need or right to be? For example, the recent legalization has stirred up Radicals on both ends of the stick, but it seemed that mostly Religious folk were bothered by it, and to be specific, according to what the New York Times[/wretch] said, the Catholic Church.
Why are they all in a frenzy over this? It may go against what they believe, but guess what? The World doesn't believe in entirely the same thing. If it did, it'd be boring as all "Hell". If a person doesn't believe in your Faith of Choice, then you really have no right to impress your views upon them. You can live your life how you like, and they can now go live their life how they like. I don't see how some homosexual couple, who may or may not even be of the Catholic following, affects your day-to-day life. Just keep it to yourself, unless absolutely necessary.
Next, with Abortion. This can't be blamed on the Church alone, really. That'd be stupid of me and quite judgmental, considering the amount of other people and groups who don't 'believe' in abortion.

The same thing applies here as above; Leave the people whose opinions, views, and lifestyles are different than yours alone. With Abortion, I've seen some odd events. For example, when I was about 10 or 11, a Pro-Life Group of sorts was protesting in the Loop, showing pictures of a crying Jesus, and of fetuses in containers, bins, etc. Now, some of the Protesters had their children with them, and their kids looked either A; Bored, or B; Scared. I was pretty much just annoyed every time one of those morons, and I say morons because they were running around everywhere shouting and bugging the hell out of everyone, shouted at us while we were heading to the CTA.

Now, again with above; If it doesn't involve you, then you shouldn't get worked up over it. So what if you wanted to 'save' the little children, it's more humane than giving birth to them then tossing it in the dumpster, aka; "Poorbortion".
I'm happy that Illinois has a "Bubble Zone' Law that requires all protesters outside of Abortion clinics to be 20ft away at all times from people entering the Clinics. People deserve privacy when it comes to personal matters like this.

I'm not sure if there's more to add, but I guess the conclusion is this; Don't butt-in to other peoples' lives and choices. If they're gay, hooray for them, let them get married and be miserable like us. It's their choice, and they ought to make use of the newly-passed Law.
If some couple wants an abortion, then let them get their abortion. They've made the choice to, and your screaming and shouting has already damaged the fetus anyway.
Keep your beliefs to yourself and others who share those beliefs. Not everyone wants to hear them, and if they end up hearing them, chances are they still won't agree. Why? Because you're coming across as hostile and and bitter. Not qualities one would want if trying to get someone to change their mind or views on something, which I think is wrong in itself...

Rant over, I believe.

Gay Marriage is very hot waters.
Personally, I cannot see myself marrying a man.
I may be bisexual, but I tend to keep it at that: sexuality.
Sure, I can see myself having a boyfriend, but marriage?
That is sinful.
I'll marry a woman.
But if she and I decide to get sexually involved with another male/female/both, that is our decision.
No one else's.

Don't give a damn about Gay marriage. I do think it should be called something else, though.

Abortion is wrong or right depending on the individual. Well, that could be debated... I'll get into that in a future blog.

Freedom of religion is a right. So, who cares. Buy or beware, or in this case. Read or buzz off.

By the way, the government was created in the mindset of Christianity. Not free thinkers. This is a fact.

With Abortion, there are not enough places for the newborn children to live, which [in my screwed-up personal opinion,] constitutes as permitting abortion to be an option, not an answer. There's a difference.

Skittles, really? I thought I was pretty direct in pointing out the Christian Faith there. ;D

Epic, it is a known, yet not widely-accepted fact, that "world peace" will never happen. Same for "equal rights".

Panzer, I have, but the Religious rhetoric has been spewed before as well. I'm just tossing my figurative hat in the ring.

as for gays, as long as you dont hit on me i dont care. you would be pretty much the same either way so why care
abortion however, your ruining your chances of new life. you can put the child up for adoption, ect.

Ram-I used to ALWAYS play my dsi at night. But one night my dad found it so he puts it on his dresser RIGHT by the door...so i just sneak in and grab it XD (parents misjudge my smartness)

Religion-I barely go in chats any more cause there's always someone preaching -.-

Abortion-They could put it up for adoption too :p

Gay/Lesbian/BI-I agree, and you know that guy that always says challenge accepted? What if he was on a poster that said (They just legalized gay marrage in NY. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!(he lives in NY and is gay...(for those of you who don get the joke)))

BanMan stole my complete opinion. I understand that it's a (what we call) free country, but eventually, "freedom" (notice the quotation marks!) will be the cause of chaos among this country, possibly other countries as well. Wars will break out because of this "freedom" that we are striving so much for, and will never have. Put it as this: We ourselves are reaching towards the end of the world, without any natural disasters, or (for those who are Catholic/Christian) without Jesus/God rising again (though in our Religion/Faith, it will still happen eventually). We can't have most of what we desire, and "World Peace" & "Freedom" are 2 things that we will never have, no matter which way you put it.

These situations are apparently defended because of a 'free' country. Freedom can only go so far though, and I personally think it already has in some areas. It's got to stop somewhere. In theory, if this were to continue, one could murder or steal without penalty.

I see... First, I'd like to thank you for the corrections, I had just woke up to type this.

Second, it doesn't sound too brain-washed, just devout. When you start saying 'All Jews must die', I'll call you brain-washed, among other things.

I understand that that's your belief, among the others who also believe that. However, it's probably very annoying to be considered Pariahs because of your [random gay couple's] beliefs or actions.
So while you're just doing what you believe is right, it's a pain in the ass to some. No offense, just shedding light.

I'm feeling neutral towards this blog. You're one of the few members who can rant without flinging too many rampaging generalizations. However, I do have a problem with this part:

It doesn't effect my life. I don't try to get my beliefs out for my own benefit. What I'm about to say is going to sound terribly brainwashed, and I'm sure many people aren't going to like it.
I believe that what I know is right. First of all, I believe the Bible is a true account of the past and contains the best way of life. I also believe that, of the Bible-following religions, I have the truth(or closest to truth). Also, in the Bible, Christians are told to "Preach this good news to peoples of all tribes, tounges, and nations," and "Go therefore, and make disciples". So if my religion really is the best way of living(which I have "witnessed" firsthand), it would be selfish and lazy of me to keep it to myself because I just didn't feel like it, and cowardly to stop preaching and teaching due to opposition. I do this out of love, a pure motive.

I'm sorry if this sounds like incoherent babbling, I've been run ragged for the past few days and I'm really tired.
