A Maltese, also called Bichon Maltais, is a tiny, dog with great all around personalities. Even as small as they are with a height just 9-10 in (23-35 cm) & a weight of 4-7 lb (2-3 kg) they can pose a challenge given how daring & loud they can get if not properly trained.
DESCRIPTION Watching these dogs walk, you'd swear it's floating on air. The reason for this is the dog's long flat coat, which hangs to the ground, which is pure solid white (occasionally with markings of slight lemon or gray). Grooming can be quite time consuming as combing needs to be done every day or 2 to keep from being matted & the white hair can be difficult to keep clean.

-Irritable towards young children.
HEALTH Life Span: 13-15 Years. -Eye Infections are common.
-Gingivitis (Swelling of the gums) is common.
-Liver problems is common.
-Low Thyroid can be a problem.
