A Shih-Tzu is a small dog, it can come in any color & marking & has a proud manner & carriage about it. They can be difficult to raise, but can be worth the effort.
DESCRIPTION Their head is held high & tail is elegantly carried over their back. Their luxurious coat hides a sturdy body & a smooth, effortless stride. Their long, dense, double-coat is mainly straight & comes in any recognizable color. Their grooming needs are quite considerable & time-consuming with the coat needing to be brushed or combed daily to maintain it's silky regal appearance, an occasional clipping is also recommended. They're a toy breed meaning they're quite small in size being at a height of 8-11 in (20-28 cm) & at a weight of 9-16 lb (4-7 kg).
