"Go Therese!!! good luck!!!!" Therese looked up to see the smiling faces of her friends, who were sitting in the bleachers awaiting her performance. Therese looked over to the judging panel, they nodded and she dug in her skate awaiting the start of the music. Her costume was lively, stating that her dress will be remembered like folklore, it was a stunning purple with fake encrust emerald skirt, her hair with a bun and matching tiara she looked like a gracefull skating princess. The music began and as she swayed in time she couldn't help but think of the after party her friend kayla was throwing...
"I'M GOING MOM!!" Therese called out the door. "now where are you goin?" her mom called from the living room,"it is way to late to leave the house!!" Therese calmly explained where she was going. Little did she know she was being watched.."Sir? Is she leaving?" a muffled voice said "yes, but watch out for Him." an equally muffled voice answered. As Therese bade her mom goodbye she couldn't help but feel the hair on her neck prickle. She climbed into Kayla's car and they drove off. Therese was wearing a black party dress with a small diamond necklace that had a tiny angel inside. it was her great-great-great-great grandmothers and it was priceless. She didn't realize it but it had snagged on a bush and come off her neck. As soon as they had left, the duo came out of the bush. "ummm, sir, she left this!" A teenaged blonde boy held up the necklace to the man. "oh, no. such recklessness,well we'll just hold on to it for her until she returns, whenever that maybe, keep watch for Him, Layne and don't alert her foster mother!" Layne nodded and trotted toward the house, the man followed the car until it came to a stop in front of Kayla's house. "Please let this party be short, Miss Therese, for we don't want Him catching up to us..."
