Hello 3DSPaint. Possibly, the 3D album has been here since the earlier days of the 3DS browser release (and obviously 3DSpaint official release), not many of you are aware that unlike other apps on the collection of sites (Wii, DS, 3DS paint) the current number of members in charge of taking care of the 3D photo album is short. Short maybe because Daniel (Hullbreach) decided to keep it short. This doesn't mean inappropriate content will not be noticed, because all 3 of us are very dedicated, but obviously its a harder work.

In order to make it easier for everyone, i, as one of the members in charge of the album (since 22 aug 2011, basically not even a month ago) decided to make a blog covering some of the picture deleting reasons and correct ways to use the 3D album. Please note that the content here is not official and is based on what i discussed previously with the other 2 moderators and Hullbreach, it is also based on my own ways of moderating.

The 3D album is dedicated to 3D pictures and 3 DIMENSIONAL pictures only., i know this is pretty obvious, but i still have to delete a lot of 2D pictures on a weekly basis, that doesn't count what other admins might be deleting as well.

3D pictures taken from the internet and: made, modified, or originally in 3D will also be deleted, why? Because it also counts as plagiarism.

Images with irrelevant 3D drawing will also be deleted, like:

This also applies to the depth/volume modeling tool.

You have a simple, yet amazing 3D camera in your hands, play around with depth/volume and space effects and you can get pretty nice pictures, here are some of mine just to leave as inspirational samples .
