Introduction Bulldogs they're smaller sized dogs (not categorized in the toy breeds). They're indigenous to Britain where the Bulldog Club was actually formed in 1864. These dogs are known for their lack of caring when it comes to listening to orders, & need owners who are very understanding.
DESCRIPTION These dogs are thick-set & quite substantial. They're characterized by they're heads, which are short-faced, widely-spaced, & they have a very short muzzle. They have a very short muzzle. Their jaws are large & undershot jaw (lower jaw is longer than upper jaw), they have black lips, which hang down over their lower jaw. Their lower jaw turns up, giving the dog a resolute expression. The neck is short, & very broad, which extends to muscular, wide-spread shoulders. Their forelegs are slightly longer then the hind legs & their tail is either straight or screwed. Their coat is fine, short, & close-fitting, & comes in any color, it requires little grooming. The wrinkles do need attention to prevent infection, & combing is recommended because of shedding. Their is no specified height requirement, although it DOES say "The circumference of the skull, in front of the ears, should measure at least the height of the dog at the shoulders". The AVERAGE height of a Bulldog is roughly 12-16 in. (30-41 cm) & the weight is 40-50 lb. (18-23 kg).
