Recently, I've been wondering what it is a person looks for in a boy/girlfriend. I came to realize that I only know what it is that I like when I started writing a new story. (Needless to say, I didn't get very far.)

In a guy, one of the first things I notice are the eyes. While I could go for any color, I tend to go for the more interesting/rare ones-blue or hazel, like my own, usually. Most guys I like have dark hair, too.

In girls, I like long hair, of no particular color. And how she carries herself is kinda important to me; I'd rather be dominated, not the dominator.

In both guys and girls, I look for someone who can make me laugh. Also important traits are trustworthiness and honesty. And, like most people, I also prefer to be with someone I get along with. Someone who understands me. And it always helps when whoever it is is taller than me. (If I want to lean down to kiss you, you'll probably be on your back ;p)

So, what is it that guys look for in a girl/guy (depending on orientation, of course)?
