Today I mined the diamonds I found, found a way out, and made a diamond pickaxe. I later perfected my route from the outside world to the abandoned mineshaft. I must explore more of it later. I then had a total of 5 diamonds. I knew I had to use 3 to make a pickaxe, so I did. I was left with 2 diamonds (obviously). I had the choice of either making an enchantment table or making a sword. I decided to make an enchantment table. After all, that's what the prerelease 3 is all about.

I still had to get some obsidian with my new diamond pickaxe in order to do it. I went back down, got some obsidian, and made the table. After cheating to decipher the enchantments it laid out for me. The enchantment I chose for an iron sword I made cost 6 XP levels, and said something about fire inside klaatu. I've yet to know what it did, other than make my sword sparkly and have slightly more damage. I then enchanted a stone pickaxe using the 1 level I had left. It was something about bless fire inside.

That was all I did today, but it was quite an accomplishment.
