It turned out I all needed was a solicitor to read my friend's will. It said that I could have any of his literary possessions if he died or if he went missing. It said that I also can keep it until he's proven alive. Now that that's settled I can continue on his story. He did write on day 5 and I'll even show you what he wrote on this blog.

DAY 5

Wow, I am so stupid! It was just a dog! Well, I'm glad that's settled! This place is as haunted as anywhere else! Although I can't explain what happened on day 4. What was it that chased me? Perhaps I was drunk after all that whisky. That stuff blew me away! Day 3 was the scariest so far! I'm going to write it on scrap paper. I don't want that memory cropping up everytime I flick through.

It looks like day 3 is really important. It looks like a key pivotal point to solving this mystery. I'm going to investigate where he went.

I'll document my findings.

(1) I found his tent but nothing of significant importance was inside.
(2) I found an old house which I didn't see on the photo. I tried entering but it was locked.
(3) I found his electro-magnetic field sensing device. I further investigated the area and found nothing.
(4) I then saw what could of scared him on day 4. There was a man; about 6' 0'', sharpening a knife. I slowly crept away and avoided him. I have a feeling he'll come into play soon.
(5) This is more of what I didn't see, dogs. He supposedly got scared by a dog and I saw no evidence of a dog anywhere.
(6) I found footprints which could of led to him but randomly stopped by a tree, this could be anyone or anything but I'm confident it was him.

I was about to return when I saw a scrap of paper on the ground. I looked closely at it and it turned out to be an extract of a story. The title was 'Day 3'.
