This is just PART of the 1st Draft, I'm gonna put the story in Parts to keep it "short".
"Is this the house?" I asked my mom.
"Yep! Help me take these boxes to the kitchen, then you can go play around, Jake," My mom replied.
I sighed and got out of the car, taking in the fresh country air. The house was beautiful, it looked too good to be true I unloaded the boxes from the moving van and walked outside to talk to my mom.
"Ma, I'm all finished. Is the internet hooked up yet?"
"No, Sweetheart. We just moved here! Take in the fresh-air and the wonderful view! I think it's time for you to find some new friends," She responded.
"Yeah, Whatever"
I walked past the playground and stopped. I saw that the swing was still moving. I waled over to it and sat on it. I took out my iPhone and it had no serves. Great. This town was not fitting into my plans.
"Kevin...Who is that?" The short boy with glasses exclaimed.
I looked up at the two boys. I'm guessing that the tall boy name is Kevin.
"Yo. What's your name, Dude?" Kevin Said
"Jake," I said nervously
"Don't be scared, I don't bite!"
"Err...Okay."
"Well my name is Kevin and this is Rob."
Rob looked away. I could feel the tension in the air
"Seems like you're new here. Folks aren't too keen to new folks," Kevin said with anger in his tone.
"I fit in kinda fast at new places," I shot back
"Really?"
"Yes."
"We'll see then, Jake"
"What do you mean?"
"Don't worry about it."
