I always had this feeling.
This feeling of dispair.
I always used to think.
That you were never there.

I would wake up
With tears in my eyes.
I screamed. I kick.
All because you were never there.

My feelings unnoticed.
Not cared for.

Where were you when I needed to learn to ride a bike.
Where were you when I was confused, beat and ridiculed?


You say you love me.
It took 13 years for those words to form.
I'm allowed one question before you left me today.
All I want to say is
I forgive you, Dad.

This really touched me. My dad told my mother to abort me & never saw me again until I was 25 years old, at which time he told me to "kill myself"

drop it srsly. i feel the same way but he is trying to send out a good message. maybe people dont understand what its like without a dad. but you have to live on and stop taking it out on other people who do nothing wrong.

As I posted down there I said I admired the poems flow, you typed an amazing poem, the reason I don't like this poem is the theme and mood.

oh didnt see that comment. but he was just saying that you should love your dad if you have one and your lucky to have him. you cant saythings like that to other people who are trying to send out a good message. though i partly agree.

15 years of life and my dad never tells me he loves me and he never hugs me either.
But he taught me everything I need to know.
To this day. He will just look at me. And smile.
