A Different View. (Re-Written)

After talking to one of my online mentors (Sav) she read my blog and then I explained my views. Before getting into re expressing my views, I would like to apologize if I offended you in any way. The way I thought was totally different from what was typed. SO, Let's get this blog going shall we?

I believe that if you come to the US that you SHOULD at least ATTEMPT to learn English, I also believe that not everyone knows what happens behind the scene. Just Maybe someone is learning English, but just speaks Spanish since that's there natural language. If someone comes to the US saying "They should talk like how I talk. I shouldn't have to learn English," then by all means they shouldn't be in this country.

My Great-Grandfather is from Ireland. He came over to the US with his wife who was pregnant with my Grandfather's brother. My Great-Grandfather WAS attempting to learn English, and for about 2 years I believe he wasn't fully fluent, but he could communicate in English if needed. If it wasn't for his town and Government funding he wouldn't have learned English, nor would he have found a Job. I am thankful everyday for the citizens of America, and our Founders, and the people before them. If it wasn't for them, and there hearts, and there kindness, I wouldn't be here. I wouldn't have the education that I need to succeed in life.

What I'm trying to say is, You should attempt to learn the suggested or Main language of a country. If I moved to France, I would attempt to learn French. It's only right. Did you all know that when I was younger the only language I knew was Irish Gaelic, Lol. I didn't know English. I learned it and while learning it, I forgot how to speak Gaelic. I lived with my Great-Grandfather and thats ALL he spoke around me. It was hard a little bit for me, but hey. I do better in English Class then most students who's first language IS English. Chrym is teaching me Gaelic again, So I'll be back and running in no time.

Again, I'm sorry if I offended you and that my views came out a different way, and Thanks Sam for helping.

English is the most difficult language to learn compared to most dialects.

Yeah. Well if you are going to a different contry to live, you need to know their language. Its common sense. its not disrespectful in any way.

Your story about your language reminds me of myself, except it was arabic. I didn't completely forget it though, I've recovered. I speak fluently now, but it sounds kind of mixed up.
