I felt especially productive tonight and decided to make a quick second beta release of the 3DSPaint app. This is just a taste of what's to come but it does show off the 3D functionality. I decided to go with layers, rather than time-based drawing. To change between layers, click the ugly numbered buttons to the right of the canvas (which will be replaced with something aesthetically pleasing in the final release). Layer 1 is considered the background. Layers 2 and 3 are the foregrounds. I may add a few more layers in the final version.

Enjoy what is available in the beta because I may not get a chance to do much more until early next month. Please provide all the feedback you can on what you would like to see in the final release. Here are my ideas so far:

1. Save the artwork as a line drawing to be edited at any time.
2. View artwork as a variable-depth MPO, JPG, PNG, or GIF.
3. Tag the file with information Windows, MacOS, or Linux, can display in slideshows.
4. Rate artwork made by others.
5. Organize artwork into albums.
6. Title artwork.
7. Rotate, mirror, or flip, the canvas.
8. Invert layers

I'm having a lack-of-caffeine brain fart right now, so I'll stop at #8 for tonight.
