This is my point of veiw! lf you are uncomfortable with it, it's OK!
1) Proluge
I know, proluge.
Manga is reality and fantasy together. My manga style isn't balanced, and fantacy rises over reality.
2)The head
Ok. Draw 2 vertical lines that are approximatly 3 inches apart. Draw a diagnol line on each vertical line. Connect them with a horizantal line. Your result should be...

Or something like that. Now draw a semi circle on top connecting the lines. There! You've got a head!
3)Eyes
Draw a zero (0). Now shade in an arch in the top. If it's a girl go further out for eyelashes. Now were going to do something called cross hatching. So start shading from the bottom left corner of the eye and end shading at the top right. Now start shading from the right bottom corner and end at the left top.
4)Nose
The nose looks like a comma , so this is the shortest section!
5)Mouth
Many mouth types. Note! If your drawing a kind of smile, erase the center!
6)Hair
Hair can't be explained here! To find out some styles...

7)Waist to Neck
Neck- Draw a small line down from the head.
Shoulder- Draw bumps after the neck.
Arms/Chest- Draw a line down from the shoulder. Now about 2 centimeters in, draw a line down. Do the same for the oppisite side! MAKE SURE YOU PUT THE SHIRT/DRESS LINE!
Breast(Females)- This is only if your character has gone through puberty, which I think is age 12. Ok. By the left arm line, draw a parenthisis ( . By the right arm line, draw a parenthisis ) . Connect from the bottom by drawing a semi circle. Shade below it. There should be some space between the breast and the shadow.
