Nintendo 3DS November update OUT! 2 days earlier (USA and EU confirmed)

Nintendo 3DS users from the NoA region (Latin America, Central America, North America) can now update their Nintendo 3DS system, which will run the 3DS OS Ver. 3.0.0-5U

You can now take video shots from up to 10 minutes, and use various video related tools like stop motion and frame by frame, the frame rate in the videos is incredibly sweet and it seems faster than the regular cameras, oddly.

There is also a new Application, before available only locally, in places like Gamestop or Best Buy, its an application you use to access a local digital catalog, and news of games and new releases, it seems this one is now updated to receive SpotPass content.




StreetPass Mii plaza was also updated, and i am surprised! It seems SpotPass is now available, apparently new Mii's will arrive trough SpotPass? Thats what it just said, i don't know if thats what it really meant, sorry. And yeah, this also says that Advertisements may come with the content, same thing was said for Nintendo Zone but i guess its just natural, its an advertising application. There are now "achievements" list such as Meeting 100 Mii trough streetpass in the same day and meeting a mii in its birthday, and many others! There are new Puzzles available now too.

The Friend list was updated too, now you can join your friend if he is playing an online game, of course, if you have the same game too. Now online friends are shown first in the list and before them the ones who are playing a game online are shown, people running an offline software or doing nothing are shown last, and lastly the offline friends. There have been a few changes in the buttons too.

The "friend online" notification has been fixed too, it doesn't show "0" friend online when you actually have people online there, and it says "a friend just got online" when you are in the home menu and the orange LED lights up.


Thats all the updated delivered.

The messaging software will probably be available once then Nintendo eShop is back up running, you may have noticed its been down the whole day now.

I noticed that.

It probably has to do with the 3D image processing, there were rumors going on about Ninty figuring out a "different" and faster way to do it.

Remember: The 3DS is always working on the 3D image even with 3D off. So doesn't matter if its on or off

Lol i knew it, you don't know what i passed trying to fix grammar and typos in this blog while the database was a laggy mess, i took several minutes to do something i would take...seconds xD
