The message system is bogging down the server. We have all seen the results of this. There's something about a database table with 4 million records that computers don't like. Aside from the purging of old messages to bring that down to around 2 million, I have decided to lessen the load on that particular aspect of this community of websites and enhance the alert feature all in one fell swoop. Here we have it:
