First we start with DJ Hero 1:
DJ Hero is a spinoff of Guitar Hero and instead a guitar, you get a turntable. The goal of DJ Hero is the same: Press the right buttons, scratch and crosfade. At Guitar Hero, the controls were different: you need (still) need to HOLD the right butten AND prees another button to play a note. At Guiatar Hero, you had something called "Star Power", but on DJ Hero, you got a "Euphoria". They have the same effects (they double your points). With DJ Hero, you mix through good tracks like "Intergalactic" by beasie boys "I like to move it" by reel 2 real "I can't stop (david penn remix)" by sandy rivera. Better is that 2 songs are mixed together like "intergalactic" & "poison" or "Here comes my DJ" & "Cars" and alot of more! Some tracks are mixed with only 1 song like "beats and pieces" by the scratch perverts. DJ Hero also have a online mode, but no one else is coming, so good luck if you want to play online! So, now let's get to DJ Hero 2
1.Gameplay
In DJ Hero 2, some of the controlls changed or are new (turntable is the same) for example hold taps, freestyle tap, freestyle scratch, freestyle crosfading and more.
1.1.Hold tap
A hold tap is easy to learn. If a longer note appears, just hold the button you need to play with.
1.2.freestyle tap
Like on DJ Hero 1, you can tap however you want at the red pattern, but what changed is that you can't disside which sound you want to play.
1.3.freestyle scratch
If, for example, a scratch symbol appears on a long green line, that means you can scratch however you want (or if you want). But freestyle brings more points!
1.4.freestyle crosfading
Freestyle crosfading is something that really brings you points (or the most "points bringer" of the freestyle options). You can crosfade however you like to.
