I know some of you don't give two hoots about science, and the endlessness that we call space. But think about it.
There are MILLIONS of known galaxies, even more. In a single solar system, ours, a tiny fraction of our galaxy, there happens to be one planet with life on it.
Now, think of all the other galaxies, and of the thousands of solar systems within each of those.
