I needed someone new to talk to,
And I decided it was going to be you.
You were sweet and shy to at the beginning,
But then you started to open up and let the shyness come to an ending.

You soon showed me a side of you I had never known,
A side of you the could over throw the most pained on the thrown.
You told me about your life,
You told me about your mother's suicide with that life taking knife.

I'm sorry that you had to witness that,
While your father just sat there drunk and laughed.

I let you cry in my arms that night,
You showed me a new path with light.
I had finally realized my life wasn't that bad,
But yours was way to torn apart and sad.

I understand you way better now.
I will never let you feel that down.
I want to take away all of your pain.
I want to let you know that you are not insane.

I love you like you were my own sibling or son.
I will never let you blame yourself for what happened between your father and that gun.
You have been through enough.
I bet anyone would say your life has been really though.

Just a word of advise from a friend,
So go on listen and take my hand.
You should not blame yourself for what happend in the past.
You should live your life to the fullest or to the max.
