The beast that rages on the inside...
It wishes for me to die.
This beast is unlike any other,
It's not one that you can hide from behind your mother.

This beast is not one that you can see.
You can not just kick it in the knee.
It comes from the inside,
It has come from the devil hoping you will die.

This demon is deadly and dark.
It comes like a shadow in the dimly light park.
You can't put a cage on it for long.
You can't stop it even with the soothing rhythm of a song.

I am speaking from my past and most likely my future.
It is everyones worst feature.
It can take away a perfect person's smile in a heartbeat.
It is something that makes you seem not-so-neat.

It is a little thing called self-hatred.
It is like giving yourself a dose of acid.
There is no way of avoiding this monster.
Now I hope you find it as clear as water.
