Hey guys! I'm your friendly neighborhood stalker, and today I'm going to teach you the best ways to make your 3DS worth the price you payed! Listed below are five tips that I use on a daily basis.


1. Games
It should go without saying that Ocarina of Time 3D should be in your game library. However, that's not what I'm gonna talk about. I recommend buying a flashkart online so you can play homemade games, or HomeBrew, in addition to regular Nintendo DS titles. While the latter option is illegal unless you already own the downloaded games, the former option gives the ability to play games such as MineCraft and PocketPhysics legally. I highly recommend AceKard 2i with the newest 3DS firmware update and R4 3DS.

2. Miis
Miis are, of course, the Wii and 3DS counterparts to Xbox 360 Avatars. The best way of obtaining new Miis is arguably by visiting this website on a computer and scanning the QR Codes. The site, MiiCharacters.com, is a site that has possibly thousands of Miis ready to scan and download right onto your 3DS. Another great way is to use the CheckMiiOut channel on the Wii to download them to your Wii, then transfer them over to your 3DS via wireless communications.


3. Photos
If you want to convert your photos from your computer to the 3DS, I recommend using this tutorial (credit goes to Fernando for the blog) to convert your 2D photos into 3D.


4. Music
the original DSi came with a music player, sure, but it lacked MP3 support. Luckily, the 3DS supports MP3s and a few more formats. I recommend putting your music into a folder titled "music" on your SD card, simply to avoid clutter.


5. Friends
Okay, I hate to be a suckup, but in this case I have to: 3DSPaint is arguably one of the best ways to add friends to your friends list. Make some new friends, exchange codes, and be happy. Remember to post your friend code onto your profile!
