Despite my Savii, I am a girl. Anyway, to the point. Parental controls can be a good thing for small children, but for kids 12 and older, it just doesn't sound like the right thing to do. For a parent to set up those controls on a child's system who is, like, 14 would be stupid. By that age, kids know what's good and bad on those systems. They can block things that aren't even inappropriate or bad. Yet, parents do it anyway. So, I am here to give you some advice that will help you get the most out of your DSi/3DS.
DON'T LET YOUR PARENTS GET ON YOUR SYSTEM! And, one other way. Do the controls yourself. Set up your own security so your parents have no way of controling what you do on your system. It has worked for me. Hope it works for you too! XD
