Hello, fellow nerds and Grand Theft Auto fans! I am on a incredibly tedious and difficult task: To create GTAIV on the Android devices. No, no, I'm not going to be creating it from scratch. That would be as impossible (and stupid) as it gets. But, rather, I will be modding Grand Theft Auto III (already available on the Android Market) to make it look and play exactly like it. This is entirely possible because the Android edition of GTA3 is compatible with mods from the Computer version, which is still commonly modded today. Below is a checklist of everything that needs to be done, what is already done, and it's completion status. I will put sidenotes where needed.

GTA 3.4 Checklist

In no particular order:

Niko Bellic Player Model (100%)
COMPLETED; Replace Claude with the main character from GTA4
Player Animations (100%)
COMPLETED; Make the player walk like Niko (possibility, might not happen)
UI (0%)
Make the onscreen icons look as they did in GTA4
HQ Cars (100%)
COMPLETED; Make the cars look nice and shiny, like they did in GTA4
Radio Stations (100%)
COMPLETED; Convert the radio stations, including music, talkshows, and commercials, from GTA4
Max Settings (100%)
COMPLETED; increase the draw distance, add lighting and blood, ect.
Ragdoll Animations (0%)
Another possibility. Probably will never happen. Key word here is ANIMATION. Not physics. If it gets done, it will be animations that look like ragdoll.
New-Game Mission (50%)
Get an introduction video, and replace the audio files to make it more authentic.
HQ World Textures (0%)
Increase the quality of the overworld textures.
Car Bail (0%)
Add the ability to bail out of a moving car.
New Startup Videos (100%)
COMPLETED; Replace the videos that play every time you start up the game with the ones from GTA4
New Loading Screens (0%)
Replace the screens that show up in between screens.
Weapons (100%)
COMPLETED; Add the weapons from GTA4 into the game. Gun sounds are also completed.
Bikes (0%)
Motorcycles need to be added to add a true GTA4 feel to it.
Add New Cabbie (100%)
COMPLETED; Add the cabbie from GTA4
Add Cognoscenti (100%)
COMPLETED; Add the Cognescenti (Mafia) car to the game.
Add Comet (0%)
Add the Comet race car to the game.
Add LCPD Police Vehicle (100%)
COMPLETED; Replace the police cars with the ones from GTA4
Car Names (-)
Replace the car names with the proper ones.
GTAIV Fonts (0%)
Add the fonts from GTA4

As you can see, this will be a large project. It will not be easy. If any of you, the fine people of the Paint community, have any of the above mods, or the capability to make them, please inform me. As well, if anything is missing, also tell me in the comments below.
