Many months of suffering has certainly paid 
Pushing despair and pain it has made
I've stayed in the dark room for many a day

A beautiful sound in the thick of the dark
I thought it was a new spark 
I looked for the sound, here and there
But couldn't find it, how I feared. 

The sound, it grew to be more
It opened my heart, burnt and sore
For a while I stood in the thick of the dark
Wondering where if it is a new spark

I turn around
I turn fast
I find the source 
And I fell fast
The sound was you
The most beautiful thing
In tears, I walk to you
I know now I am saved from despair
I know now I can prosper in love again
To pluck my heart from the plague of despair

We talk for hours, I wait all day
In random words, we will say
We talk in silence, you and I 
We never have to say a word, you and I 

You make me smile
I want you to know
I love you
