After breakfast Trevor ran off by himself. He needed time to think about what Yumi had told him. Dr. Malone had mentioned him to her, but his Uncle's last name wasn't Malone, it was Barite. He was so confused, was it a pseudonym|? Or his real name? Trevor walked towards the woods, deep in thought. A train whistle blew causing a memory to resurface..
* Midnight, on a Train in Brooklyn*
"I can't let him find me." Trevor mumbled. "If he does, I'm dead!!" he rushed through the cars, startling some passengers. He saw the conductor up head and attempted to turn around, but he was noticed. "You there!" He called. Trevor began to run and the conductor chased after. "He's fast!" Trevor thought. The chase lasted through 3 different cars and ended in the caboose, Trevor had been cornered. "Now look here Trevor.." The conductor smiled cruelly. "Did he just say my name?" He thought wildly. Trevor finally got a good look at the conductor's face, and he paled. "M-M-Mr. B!" He stuttered. "Now boy... I told you about the stuttering... I won't allow it!" Mr. B raised his hand to strike, but Trevor was already gone. He ran through the back door of the caboose and climbed the ladder on the side to the top. "I have to get off this train!!" He took a step, wobbled but regained his balance. He heard the caboose door open, and then a click of the lock. Trevor cursed himself for not having thought of that. He ran down the top, making as much noise as he possibly could to catch someones attention. No one came. Trevor turned to face Mr. B who had just climbed up the ladder. Mr. B laughed cruelly again, "Foolish boy! You're getting yourself deeper in trouble by running!!" He exposed a knife in his palm. It glittered menacingly in the moonlight. "You better stick with me boy, you'll be a great test subject! I'm trying to get rid of a foul menace, and creating new army! Anyone who runs will be destroyed!!!"....
*memory fades*
Trevor shuddered. In his head he combined what Yumi, Bridgit, and the memory had told him. He came up with this: Mr. B, now Dr. Malone was kidnapping people important in Ninja society and testing on them, making them a member of his Ninja Thieves Army.It was pretty ingenious actually, no training was needed, taking years away from leading a rebellion. Trevor was deep in the woods now, far away from the camp. It was midday and the sun was shining, and the flowers were bright. Something was missing though. No birds. A long time ago he remembered his mom telling him that birds could sense danger faster than a dog could and that, to avoid predators finding their location, would conceal themselves by not singing or moving at all. Some birds have even died because of lack of food, she had said. Trevor turned to head back to camp, anxious. He walked a little ways when a cloaked person intercepted him. "Are you Trevor Tsutaki?" The person, that sounded female, asked. "What if I'm not?" He said cautiously. "No matter. You have figured out our secret, now we must take you with us." We? Out of the bushes and trees came a group of 20 other cloaked men and women. They surrounded Trevor, unsheathing their weapons. "Make any sound and we'll kill you, Dr. Malone will understand." Trevor knew what was going on then. Mr. B had come to collect his due.
