Many years ago, the three golden goddesses came down from the heavens to create this land. Din, Nayru and Faore. They created everything in the world. When they departed, they entrusted the triforce, an artifact of ultimate power, to the goddess Hylia. For many years, Hylia ruled over the land and there was peace and prosperity.
But it did not last. Out of the depths of the earth came Demise, the demon king, and his army of demons. Demise lusted after the triforce, and waged war on Hylia in order to get it.
Hylia, fearing for the safety of the humans, gathered them all on an outcropping of land. Then she sent it skyward, high above the clouds, where the humans would be safe.
Then the war truly began.
Chapter One
There were bokoblins marching towards the Temple of Hylia. Impa sighed.
"Will they ever learn?" she thought.
"Impa!" called Hylia, "would you mind dealing with them, "I'm quite busy at the moment."
Impa walked outside. There were hordes of bokoblins.
"This might take a while," she thought.
A few minutes later, the bokoblins were all dead. Impa walked back inside and went to Hylia's chamber. She knocked on the door.
"Come in," she said. She was forging a sword. The sword had a pale green hilt and a blade which Impa could see her reflection in.
"What's that?" asked Impa, with a look of intrigue on her face.
"This is what is going to save us after I put my plan into action." Hylia replied
"What plan is that?" asked Impa.
"It isn't important," said Hylia, quickly changing the subject,"what news from the dragons?"
"It's been pretty severe over the past few days," replied Impa, "Demise has been hitting hard."
"I see."
"Is there anything you need me to do?"
"No, it's fine."
"Okay." Impa left the room, leaving Hylia to wonder if the world would ever be safe from Demise.
