I went in the house of mirrors
just to see what I would find.
I wanted a hint to what I was,
what I could call “all mine.”
While inside I saw tainted lies
and rumors of what others say,
but the last two mirrors moved me most,
they made me who I am today.
The first mirror made me short and stubby,
bad thoughts floating in blood red,
the things that others thought had made me
think they're right, and so I fled.
The second mirror was standing tall,
just like my reflection inside.
I have chosen to rise above
all those people who've lied.
I walked out of the house of mirrors,
thinking of what I found.
I've decided I won't let others
try stomping me into the ground.
I will stand up and fight,
whatever it takes.
I will be victorious,
whatever it takes.
I won't fall fown,
whatever it takes.
I'll be me,
whatever it takes.
