Now, whenever I go to the chatroom menu, the roleplay rooms are always almost empty. I know why they are almost empty. Because of lack of good roleplays. Whenever I go into one of those chatrooms, it is always random themes. I have learned how to create a good roleplay, which I will share with you.

1. Story - The story is the most important part of the roleplay. If you don't have a story, it will just be random crap. Trust me, I know. Now, you don't have to write a story, just plan out the background story and/or a summary to make sure that the other roleplayers understand what the story is about. I suggest making a blog or group and explaining it, since you'll get banned if you spend too much time talking in the roleplays here.
Example of a story:
The planet Eggson was at constant war for years. So much so that the governments stopped purley because they were tired of war and banded together to form one single government. One day, the human part of the government felt that only they should be allowed to govern the land. So they gained power. Some time later, the government feared the other races. So they created an extermination plan. Which soon took effect. Soon, groups formed to take down this government, they are called, pirates. Now, a great war is going on between the pirates, and the government.
*note: Some admins on here ban for rps being too violent.

2. Rules - You MUST set up rules like, "no cybering" or "no chatting" (which isn't suggested) and most importantly, "follow the site rules."

3. Characters - Every story needs a character, right? You want everyone in the rp to have at least one character. But, the character and its postion needs to fit. Think about it like this, would a story about love and the power of friendship have a goodguy where his parents were killed by a cerial killer, and no orphanage or family would take him in and he grew up to like killing and is now an assassin? Thats what I'm talking about. But your characters also need to have personalities. Its not just saying they have a certain personality, you have to try to make the character have that personality.

4. Plan - Plan everything out before hand. You could get banned for talking in these rp chatrooms. So, this calls for planning. Make a blog about it and direct your friends to it. Or make a group about it and invite your friends. Now, I know people just goes into chatrooms, so inform the newcomers about what is going on. Have them be an unimportant character to try your roleplay out. So if they don't like it, they can just leave.

All good roleplays have these things. Just plan ahead and you should be able to create a good roleplay. If you want a good forum for roleplaying I know a few, just ask.
