Group Enhancements

The original Groups sprang from an idea of "clans' for TMJ. Members were creating threads on the Bulletin Boards to invite their friends to these clans for the purpose of hanging out in the then-new Mt. Hildar demo. To better handle the needs of these clans, I quickly rushed out the Groups a few days before heading on a vacation.

Then the Groups sat mainly untouched for 2 years...

"Prepare for Groups 2.0!" said the booming announcer voice.

You may have already seen a few enhancements. Here is a rundown of some (but not all) of the changes (completed and in-progress):

Main Menu
* Faster loading (DONE)
* Cleaner display (DONE)

General
* Sub-divided for faster loading (DONE)
* Multi-paged, like profiles (COMING)
* Bug fixes to BBCode (DONE)
* Assistant admins (COMING)
* Shared artwork albums (COMING)

Shoutboxes
* Real-time updating (DONE)
* View more at once (DONE)
* Separate paginated history (COMING)

Members
* Enhanced member list (COMING)
* More intuitive invitations (COMING)

Meaning if you went to a group page. Then clicked the "members" link. You didn't like the member so you clicked "back"(to return to the previous page)

Paginated History: You would get sent to the group info page.
