Wii Fit Plus enjoyed just one week at number one as Modern Warfare 2 has broken all records to take the top spot in the UK charts.

Modern Warfare 2 has shifted an incredible 1.78 million copies in one week, making it the biggest videogame launch ever. Meanwhile the original Modern Warfare game returned to the charts at number 19, propelled by the release of Modern Warfare on Wii. You can read our review of Modern Warfare Wii here.

It was still a decent week for Nintendo with Wii Sports Resort going up one place to number two, Wii Fit Plus staying in the top ten at number four and Mario Kart Wii re-entering the charts at eight.
