"Not really.Why?
"He's a problem.Don't run into him if you know what's good for you."
Izen pulled an electronic device from his pocket and tapped the screen.
"Thank you for the information.I'll be sure to use it."
"Sure thing."
The man nodded and walked away. The screen on Izen's device projected numbers and turned a navy blue color.Once the device was done its activation process,Izen put it back in his pocket and walked out through the briefing room's doors. The doors automatically closed behind him with small hydraulics. The hallway consisted of some soldiers traveling to important meetings and people conversing back and forth.Izen rolled his neck with a few small pops and took a right down the hall, passing by soldiers and government officials. While Izen continued on his path down the hall, something in the corner of his eye got his attention. It was a man, leaning against a wall.He had moderately cut,red hair that exploded from his head like a porcupine. He was around five foot ten and he wore a black kevlar vest like Izen.In his hands rested a photo of his daughter.Izen stopped and looked over at the man.
"You OK, soldier?"
Izen walked over to the man and saw him look up at him.
"Huh? Oh, yes.I'm fine.I've just been thinking of my daughter. How I wish she was still alive."
The man tilted the photo to give Izen a better view.
"She's beautiful.Might I ask what happened to her?"
"It's OK. It was a terrible fire. She was three by the time it happened.I was on a recon mission when I heard about it from my wife. She was crying and couldn't stop talking fast.I knew something happened."
"That's horrible.Life finds a way to stab you in the back through family.I guess faults like that are supposed to make us stronger people."
"You could say that again. Thanks for listening. My name is Roy."
"Izen.Nice to meet you."
Izen placed his hand on Roy's shoulder.
"I hope you get better soon."
Izen removed his hand and walked off towards the Armory Room.
-Stay tuned.
