My Angel's Death

My angel is a cutter,
Scaring, what is his own
And though I cry for him to stop
He thinks he's all alone

He says that no one loves him
And I know he's awake at night,
Scared that if he goes to sleep
His secret will be in plain sight

He says he doesn't do it
But I taught my angel to lie
And he knows he's breaking me
By making me watch him die

Fading slowly from his cuts
He badly wants to go home
But, my angel's quiet death,
Has left me all alone
