You have been invited to a new and innovative gameshow in which you have 3 doors. Two of which have goats behind them. One of them contains a posh car. The host will ask you to pick a door. He will then open a door to reveal a goat (revealing the car is a stupid idea.) He then asks you if you wish to change your door or stick with your original choice. The question is, is it better to stick, switch or does it make no difference. Also, this idea derived from 'Let's Make a Deal' a gameshow.
Most people think that it's a fifty-fifty choice because one door is taken out of the equation to leave two doors therefore the choice is for two doors not three. However, it doesn't work like this. Let's assume 1 and 2 both contain goats. If you pick 1, 2 is revealed and if you pick 2, 1 is revealed. So the door that is revealed is never fixed. Therefore this isn't a two-way choice.
The question still remains. Is it better to stick or switch? Sticking is easy to explain because picking a goat initially is a two in three chance and therefore you have a 1 in 3 chance of winning a car. Sticking is about initial choice in other words.
In order to win by switching, you have to land on a goat. This is because the other goat is revealed and you are forced to have the car. Landing on a goat initially results in swapping to a car. Therefore you have a two in three chance of winning a car.
Which strategy is better then? Well it depends whether or not you want a car. But the best route for winning the car is obviously switching. If you want a goat, stick with your original choice.
Keep the goat.
It will eat the grass on my lawn and give me cheese...if I learn how to make it. It will be my buddy lol.

But the car, well, No. It costs more money than a goat. Insurance, Gas, etc. while a goat may need some food or something.
