Here's a little teaser for tonight: I have paint-messages almost ready. There are just a few things to work on tomorrow evening before they go live. (The paint-message box is visible in the message composer, but you can't currently save what you paint.)

This feature will be similar to the DSi-compatible paint-comments, and I have them successfully working on the DSi, 3DS, computer, and iOS. If you like the idea of SwapNote-like messages between friends... that is what you will have. Be aware that the first version of these will just be black-on-white, and they will have no erasing (same as the paint-comments).

I will add more features if these prove to be popular, and I am already planning to port this updated functionality to the comment system and potentially other areas.
