Have you been tuned to this year's E3? Because they surely had many interesting games to show us!

This series of blogs will highlight the best of the press conferences, including yesterday's 3DS software showcase, which was a complementary event according to the CEO and the Marketing Director of Nintendo Of America.

Lets do it in order of presentation.

Microsoft (Monday 04/06)

Microsoft's event was half gaming and half fancy features. The Reveal of Smartglass was receptioned by the crowd, online and in person, with mixed reactions. The new feature for the Xbox 360 demonstrated how the console will now be optionally controlled by any Android, iOS, and Microsoft tablet or smartphone devices, enabling games to use them too. Quite frankly, thats kind of what the Wii U gamepad screen does, expect that no buttons are present, and any compatible devices in the house can be used, as long as you download microsoft's application.

The new feature also enables "multi-screen" movie experiences, showing for example, a fictional, or real map for the location of that movie scene, in real time in the 2nd screen. Halo 4 was revealed, as well as Black ops II and a new Fitness game in partnership with Nyke. One of the highlights was a quick Resident Evil 6 live demo, fans in the live chat demonstrated disappointment as it seems there is no survival horror aspects left in the game, Resident Evil is now an action TPS game more than anything. A new Dance Central game was announced, and there was a quick performance by Usher. Other games were revealed, but the focus was SmartGlass. No next-gen talk was present.

EA games Presentation (Monday 04/06)

EA revealed us plenty of sports games, a new Madden title, hockey, soccer. There was a talk about Star Wars but fans were disappointed it had nothing to do the much awaited Battle Front 3, the talk was about patches and updates to the MMO "Star wars: The old republic". A new Need for speed was also announced.

Details about the Battlefield 3 Premium service surfaced, for only 50 USD you will be able to own new vehicles and weapons in game. The reaction was mainly negative in the live chat, leaving the conclusion that fans aren't happy with that kind of reveal.

Ubisoft Presentation (Monday 04/06)

Popular reaction points out that Ubisoft hosted the best press conference this year, leaving others in the dust, and catching a lot of attention. Ubisoft's stage was home to the hottest reveals this year, plenty of next-gen Wii U games were revealed, and high budget games for both this and next generation.

Mass Effect 3 was present, and will be released for the Wii U as well as this gen's consoles. Assassins Creed 3 was unveiled and receptioned with applauses, the game will take place in the american civil war, but it was noted the Assassin's enemies are still the templar knights, it will be released for the Wii U, PS3 and xbox 360.

One peculiar title had the attention of thousands in the live chat, during the reveal trailer fans kept betting that game was Dead Island 2, they were wrong. The Wii U exclusive built from the ground up was ZombiU. A wave of desperation came across those who don't intend to buy a new console this year, ZombiU reveals the amazing uses of the Wii U gamepad as well as very sharp graphics, enough to display convict models of errant putrid human flesh, all a fan of survival horror games need.

The highlight of the show was the new IP, called Watch Dogs. An action packed game with an open world environment, pretty much like GTA games. The player lives in a world where urban spaces are controlled by automated systems connected by a global network, these systems can be hacked, and thats the key element of watch dogs. You use the tech around you to help you in your investigations, assassinations, and terrorism acts. Everybody is connected, nobody can hide the system, and you can see everything, trough hacking abilities. The concept is incredible, the game was apparently receptioned with warmth.

As you can see, the characters you will control will have devices able to sense every kind of tech around them. From personal cellphones to security cameras and digital outdoors.
