Though this may be the end of the world,
they all lined up like soldiers to try and fight the fate.
Opposing sides holding weapons of destruction,
the townspeople holding whatever the had.
It was coming soon, their own ending.
Such a story, of a distant city in flames.
The story of a place engulfed with unjust hate.
I walk past these ashes, those black roses glowing.
The sky shows it's regret, tears of a starry night sky.
But when I think back, to the destruction of love and hate in halves; I just laugh.
Look at me now,
one engulfed by the thrill of destroying your hope.
Saying i'm upset would be a lie.
Listen to me sing here, in these ruins.
With a smile that shows such coldness, I remember you said
"What happened to you?"
Such a shame i'm not the girl you knew!
In a line, they stood with their fists alone.
That opposing side, (me), held her own and left them
in flames with her abilities.
And as I walk away from this past of mine, I can't help but
feel sad that, I couldn't be the one to kill you.
And in the end, you still smiled and said that;
Those three words I hate about you.
You stood by me, holding my hand, brother.
Why won't you give up the me you've known.
In this grasping darkness, I walk away from you laughing.
