Have you even been in an online game of MW3 and thought about what some of the clan's names could mean? I have. I played a clan of guys who call themselves "F.N." It supposedly means Fear Nothing. I will admit, being the level 36 that I am (yeah, that's right, I suck) I had no chance of beating these level fifty seventh prestiges or whatever that crap is. I looked up there clan page (because I have nothing better to do on a Friday night) and started to "read" about them. Turns out they are a bunch of "serious gamers" that aren't looking for a good time. Apparently then, the guy laughing as he killed off their team wasn't a valid member because he was having fun. I started to think, okay so if they are serious gamers then they would be around the ages of sixteen to anywhere older really. But wait, if they truly feared nothing then wouldn't they have something better to do on a Friday night as well. I mean sure take into account that they probably aren't the best looking creatures on the planet, but they should be on some kind of date, right? Granted I'm fourteen and can't drive, so I don't have anything better to do. What's their excuse? Do they fear society? I decided they probably did. Now as I'm getting killed thinking about this, I saw another clan.
This clan was odd looking to me. From the start something just didn't sound right to me. The name of the clan was "SoG" (in this case meaning Sanctum of Gamers). This group looked odd to me. First off Sog is fun to say, second they all had cheat codes, and third the rules for the clan.
Rules to remain a member in SoG
•Must remain active on our website and on your console.
•Must play with your Company members. Not 24/7 but we ask that you make an effort to get to know each other.
•You must not be in another clan while a member of SoG.
To save time I was going to edit it so that all the it said was "You must devote your life to video games." Later I realized I really didn't need to though.
Then you have your groups like "YOLO" and "SWAG" which anyone can join. There was a pretty sad one called "KwC" I'll let you figure out what that one means, but the kid in that one was cussing up a storm in his hospital bed. It was scary. I quit after two rounds because I was tired of being called "stupid". Then you have some cool looking ones like "TaZe", to this day I don't know what it means.
I am part of a clan called "G4H" meaning Gunz for Hire. I joined it for one word that they put in their group rules. That word was fun. They were one of the few groups that had it. If any of you are looking to join a clan, ask to join this one. You do need a headset but other then that they aren't too picky.
I am I the only one that didn't really how intense these clans can get. Most of them have their own website. The one I'm in has a list a it's members and their ranks. It also has a list of their retired members and their ranks. I had no idea that clans were such a big part of the game. I mean you see a level eighty sixth prestige and see that he isn't part of a clan it makes you realize how pointless they're.
So here is the question. What is the point of them? I mean it makes sense to have one with your friends, but why just join a random one. I did it for show. Are some of these clans actually feared? Such as, say a clan joins a room are you willing to leave? I wouldn't, I'm not experienced enough. Some people say they join clans because they need friends to play against, but if you can just add random people and play them then why would it matter? I mean are you that lonely or something?
its a good idea and i thumbed up. But the bad thing is most people of this site are kids and will never know what you talking about or they dont even have the permission to play 18+ games like callofduty.
