Starting of so small, not nearly our size now,
Dying off this world, going cold,
Take a bow, life flies by,
But you have memories
To keep inside.
Trying things, Meeting people,
The love of your life,
"What's the matter?"
They'd say, as you cry softly and sigh.
Someone there to comfort you, til the end,
This might happen, as time flies by.
Helping your parents,
Maybe your first job,
Getting fired, Who knows what happened?
It seems so long ago,
When it just happened.
Now where are you, seeming faded,
Your parents, your life,
Gone from hatred. A gunshot, all you heard,
The sounds of the birds died out as you came to an end,
Away from your family, away from your friends...
A flash, you saw, before your eyes,
What had happened,
"Why did I die?"
Things have happened.
Now you sit in someone else's shoes,
Crying at your grave, "Why, Why?!"
Life flashes, your in the hospital,
Alive, as your mother holds your hand in tears.
The doctor walks out.
Time can fly by, life flashes, revealing it all.
The fun you had,
The horrid times,
The things that happen, as Time Flies By.
