Requiem for a Dream is a 2000 movie that has a very deep and important message about drugs. It revolves around four people who become addicted to drugs: Sarah Goldfar, who got addicted to diet pills a dietitian gave her in a desperate attempt to fit in her prized red dress for being on a game show with her grandson, [I forgot his name, if you know it, please post it] who, with his girlfriend, Marion, and his drug-dealing best friend [forgot his name too], try to raise money by buying and selling drugs. It takes place over an entire year, and shows the direct and indirect effects of drugs. It is a very depressing movie, but it is excellent. I give it a 9/10.
