...We walked down the street and headed out of town. "This is going to take forever!" Alissa whined. "Not if we take a short cut" I told Alissa. We walked into a forest at the edge of town. The trees blocked out most of the sunlight so it was dark even though it was still morning. "Why do we have to walk through the forest arn't there other short cuts?" Alissa asked. I didnt answer her question, I was paralyzed with fear. Alissa turned to me "What's wro....." She paused midsentence after noticeing the tall thin black figure standing in the forest staring back at us."Who is that" Alissa whispered. "I don't know.." I replyed. the dark figure walked toward us. Alissa tugged on me "We gotta go! Now!" She said frantically. I was unable to move, Alissa started running and pulled me with her I stopped to look back and see if he was following but he was gone. "Where did he go" I asked confused by what just happened. "I don't know..but lets get out of here" Alissa replyed. "I don't know how to get back out of the forest...." I said. "You've got to be kidding me" She said. Ali and I walked through the forest for several hours trying to find a way out. " I didn't know you could get lost in a forest this easily." Ali said. "I didn't know the forest was this big!" I replyed back. I sat down on a log all the walking was exausting. Alissa picked up a rock and threw it at a tree. "What do we do now?" She asked. "I don't know I'll think of something.... eventually" I stated. Alissa sighed and sat down beside me. "You better think of something quick I want to be out of here before it gets dark" She demanded. "Its only 1pm we've got plenty of time!" I told her. "I thought this kind of stuff only happens in movies." Ali giggled. We sat on the log and ate lunch before trying to leave the forest again......
