It dug into the tower and pulled him up. The dagger flew up behind Ares and made it's way to the window of the tower. It grasped something and he started pulling. Once the chain tightened, he climbed up it with the other end in his hand. More arrows flew at him and were cut down. Ares made it to the opening and climbed in, only to see a group of Ionian soldiers waiting on him. Their weapons were aimed at him. Hatred was shown in their eyes. Without hesitation, Ares threw one of his daggers and swung the chain, bringing the blade across a few of the soldiers. It scathed them and knocked them to their knees. He brought the chain back and wrapped it around one of the enemy's weapons. It spun, hooked, and he pulled on the chain, causing the weapon to fly through the air. The soldiers charged in and attacked him. He dodged the attacks, spinning swiftly, and swinging his daggers. The blade cut the knee caps of the enemies and sent them tumbling to the ground. The bell ringer was scurrying to the far wall.
Ares stood up and pulled in his weapons with the chain. The soldiers slowly crawled towards him and stopped. The bell ringer was shaking in the corner. Ares ran up to him and plowed his daggers into the man's shoulders.
"Tell me where Menelaus is!"
The bell ringer pressed himself against the wall, sweating.
"I don't know a Menelaus."
"He's here! You know and you're hiding him!"
"H-he's being held in Tirane's tower."
"Where is the tower?"
"It's the great big building at the western end of Skyros. P-please don't kill me."
Ares pulled the daggers out and swung them across the bell ringer's neck, slitting it. The man fell forward onto the floor. Ares took a torch from the corner and threw it on the bodies of soldiers. He ran to the window and jumped out of it. Erebos appeared a couple clicks away and he was slaughtering families that were trying to escape. He turned and saw Ares falling, so he quickly grabbed a spear and threw it at the tower.
