Hello, everyone. This is my very first poem here. In fact, this is the very first poem I've ever written. I really don't know much about writing poems, so please bear with me on this. It was no pleasure for me to write. I just hope someone can enjoy it. Now, here it is.

I'm your friend
I'm your pal
I'm your bestest buddy of all
Let's pretend
Let's lift morale
and let's just say you didn't fall

Don't look down
Don't freak out
Don't acknowledge, just be you
Let's not frown
Don't have a doubt
Just imagine your way through

What happened here was not your fault
I hope this doesn't seem too crude
What happened here was not for food
But let's not go and waste good salt

You may be feeling things get hot
I know you're feeling quite well done
You may be looking like the Sun
But I swear I see that you're not

I will pay
I failed here
All because I caved in too soon
Let me say,
lend me an ear,
This feeling will return by noon

Call me names,
spit up oil,
Benedict, even try to beg
I'll be tame
I'll watch you boil
I won't care, since you're just an egg
