‘Sataen’s Tongue’, is the old language of Sataen and his creations.
Similar dialects are used by the other cultures of Sataen. For example, Pluto, Hades, Death, Satan, etc.. But we will be focusing on the Saetan dialect.
The actual written langauge contains vowels with a horizontal line above them. Which are not on computers so I've had to improvise.
It's quite simple. Each letter is replaced by the letter after it in the alphabet. (Or in the vowel order, below.)
For example: B=C, C=D, D=E, Etc. (And Z would equal a non-vowel A)
When you come across a vowel in the word before translation you would use this:
A=E, E=I, I= O, O=U, U=Y, Y=A
Or, A E I O U Y.
Every vowel that must be translated gets a ` before it.
For example: cat = d`eu
A few words are not translated in ST including Saetan, Hail, and brother/sister.
The accent and tone are very bland. The speaker usually has an even tone. The stronger the demon or unholy creature is. The more fluent their accent is.
The S’s and C’s are drawn out for a short period. Like a snake. Especially at the end of sentences.
Anger, frustration, and pain are easy to register when spoken in ST. The tone comes more from the back of the throat, like a guttural growl.
The even tone may register higher in an amused or pleased ST speaker.
That’s all I got so far. I’ll will fix this if a certain section of speaking or writing is not descriptive enough.
NOTE: This is not an official language, I just created this language for roleplaying. You may use it in your rps, as long as you make sure to follow the rules of the language here. Make sure you use Saetan created characters as well. Not of the Devil, Hades, blah blah blah. It would be nice for a small hint of credit too. It’s kinda rude flaunting around my language claming you created it… :T
