Lol, I love the massive war this started.

Comparing PCs to consoles is stupid. (I can't think of a good analogy.) PCs are always going to be better than consoles as far as progression and gaming if you have the latest stuff.
* I'd
And no, my previous comment was not baised.

"Because local multiplayer will always be the best kind of multiplayer.
Local multiplayer is a fun, yet not always optimal option. You're train of thought is what has kept Nintendo behind in areas of growing importance for about half a decade."

I agree. So much so that you actually (not sure if on purpose) paraphrased me! Great blog!
(BTW)
On yesterdays Wii U blog from Waffle King:
Quoth PORKStheMEATofKINGS:
"Not too sure about the launch lineup at the moment. Wii U is looking like it's going the way of the 3DS."
Your blog:
"And speaking of games, the launch lineup is giving me the 3DS vibe, to a lesser extent."
+1
Nintendo Land actually has some value to it, as opposed to Wii Sports. As in if it weren't packaged with the system, I'd still go buy it.
The price is pretty reasonable. Especially since they'll be selling the system at a loss. You know. Nintendo can only be so generous.
Nintendo has said that all of your Wii downloads will be playable on the Wii U. They probably won't support Game Pad use at launch, but I'm sure they'd update everything when they get to it.
The launch titles are a lot better than the 3DS had, that's for sure. Mario U, Nintendo Land, Ninja Gaiden, ZombiU. They have at least something for just about anyone. They have shooting games, fighting games, platformers, racing games. More games have been announced for the Wii U before launch than games announced for the Vita, ever.
I understand if you're late to recognize the Wii U's awesome. You're obviously blind or something. It's okay. I understand.

There are a few other things included in the super duper ultra awesome cool black bundle, though, including ten percent off downloads (which could be nice if you plan on downloading a lot of games), and stands and chargers for the Wii U itself and the pad.
Also I think a lot of buyers and players would like to import their previously purchased Wii virtual console games.
I do think it would be nice if Nintendo Land were packaged in the white package, but it's apparently a more full game than Wii Sports was. I haven't played it yet though.
But nice blog!
Ah yes, I forgot about the download discount.
Didn't they say Nintendo Land didn't have online multiplayer? That's a bit annoying. :/
Thanks; it was terse. :3It won't have online because that ruins the point of it. Nintendo is encouraging you to go outside and make some friends. Because local multiplayer will always be the best kind of multiplayer.
