I am furious with the quality of contemporay food (or lack thereof) in multiple venues. Fast food (then again, the name sums it up), Cafes, and in School Cafes. They are worthy of distinguishing since one of them doesn't have government funding!

Fast food restaurants like McDonald's are lowering quality and increasing profits. While I am not suggesting an inverse in this, they could at least check their quality. One time, I had 4 chips! That's right; four. They were chunky but that is inexcusable. The burgers never look like the pictures either. All that does is increase dissappointment when I get served my sludge. "Have a nice day!" they say. Fat chance of that!

Cafes aren't actually that bad. The problem is in the food but they are trivial. It still frustrates me however. Now, the bacon to sausage ratio is 2:1. Somes cafes deliver this some don't. But please, for heaven's sake, don't go lower than 2:1! Anything higher is an obligatory "Thanks!" since you can take out extra bacon rashers. But if you get it lower... You don't want to.

Now, school food is even worse. At my school, they serve terrible tuna and 'x' sandwiches. Seriously. They mix anything with tuna. They must have a surplus of tuna hidden somewhere. But somehow, selling tuna sandwiches is extremely profitable. Otherwise, my school would surely whisk them off the shelves. And yet they don't. They should increase cheese sandwiches; they actually sell.

And that's just tuna. They also sell burgers. Nothing else. Just burgers. Plus, they are extremely horrible. You don't want to set your teeth upon them.

But then again ranting won't help... Unless we deliberately avoid fast food and school meals. Join the peace movement for justice! But for pities sake, don't get carried away...
