Wow, there's been a lot of blogs about a similar subject all featured at once lately, hasn't there? Almost as if a sort of passive-aggressive blog off has been sparked hasn't it? And it's getting quite juvenile isn't it?
I'm not going to name any names, but for demonstration purposes I will make up three entirely fictional characters who any relation to any person, living or dead, is entirely coincidental. Their names shall be Baffle Bing, Boulder, and Bittles.
Let's say Bittles writes a blog about a certain Bintendo BiiU that's written in a less than favourable light. Let's hypothetically say that this hypothetical blog could be perhaps taken as "bashing" the BiiU. Which is fine, personal opinion and what-not. Then let's say that Baffle Bing, a person who very much likes the BiiU, finds this blog offensive. He writes a blog countering the arguments of the first blog in a way that also is perhaps insulting Bittles. Boulder now comes to the rescue with a comment both insulting the BiiU in a more haphazardly way and taking clumsy jabs at Baffle Bing. This makes Baffle Bing displeased. Baffle Bing then makes a less-than-mature comment correcting every spelling mistake, slightly misinformed point, and maybe throwing in a "lolno" for good measure. Now BepicBartifex tries to ease tension with an in all honesty funny blog but still fails alleviate tension between users and therefore making the site just a little less comfortable for the average user.
Now this community is obviously far too sophisticated and mature for anything like this to happen, and another fictional user by the name of BorksTheBeatOfBings would never have to point it out and make another clumsy, potentially offensive blog about the matter.
So if this hypothetical situation were to be happening more than once say RIGHT AT THIS VERY MOMENT, I'm sure BullBreach and BavantBinaborata and all the fictional users of the fictional website used as an example for no meaningful reason, would be very pleased if the blog fights would stop. By all means, they would say, do a counter-argument blog but also respect the opinion of the other user. That includes everyone, not just these made up Bittles, Boulder, and Baffle Bing characters I made up. It means everyone on the site, I mean, if it existed anyway.
