I'm alive!
Among must consultation of myself,
I decided to write about a joyful feeling.
Surely, a lively place;
an echoing ballroom floor.
Footsteps of woman and men,
some in masks as they look for love again.
Surely too, farther away is a woman seeking
a certain joy to recollect her mentality.
But even I must say,
in her eyes lay a buried vitality.
I'm alive!
They shouted to the skys,
heard by the stars and distant places.
They gathered as a group in seek
of a certain feeling that they knew only to be
a seeking of a feeling, but little they know,
being together was just being happy.
Though the wisecracking man leans back
in his chair, he knows not that his past is
lying right there;
He settles disputes amongst his children,
perhaps as he smiled at their innocence.
He know not he's found what certainly he
mocks, a feeling of joy, 'ridiculous' he says;
but he means it not a bit as he talks.
