Quoth Kion127:These are kids, the more you tell them not to do something, the more they are going to want to do it. Its like the "don't press thered button" sign above the red button, it just makes you want to puh it even more.
I knowright tha happe to me all thetime
If you're gonna use the swastika as a peace symbol you shouldn't go around expressing your love to Nazis, joking or not. Just makes it seem like you're dirtying the sign even more than it already was.
I doubt people who use the excuse of it having a peaceful meaning know nothing about the religion and cultures it is used for. If you're going around using a symbol that doesn't really mean anything to you, I'm sure that others that hold a more deeper and religious meaning of that symbol would find that offensive.
Insein, think of the swasticka as an old, moldy, sandwich. Like the swasticka, the sandwich was corrupted. Would you eat that sandwich? It was nice and delicious earlier, what's wrong with it?
Quoth viperIIquote]I think the definition of bullying has become meaningless at this point. We disagree with your opinion, we are bullies. We don't like what you like, oh well we're being bullies. We call you out on being a tool and you're just gonna us call bullies too. Apparently being real=bullying. Not only will the next generation get dumber, it'll get whimpier and needier.

Woah got some negatives on the ratings here.... sheesh, looks like some of the banned caught up on the situation.
Quoth TacoRoccoquote]By the way Crym, I think you neglected to mention that using *s to block a word isn't allowed. That happens very frequently and I believe that because it is such a common form of censorship, people think that it is allowed. One thing I do wonder: Why is there no page dedicated to the rules of the site? Yes we have the chatroom /rule command, but the rules are so short. I think the rules need their own page and need to be explained more thoroughly.

Thank you for this post, Crym.
For any of you asking if referring to someone by a questionable term is acceptable: Why do you feel the need to insult other people, anyways? It's not healthy to hold hatred for others. Sometimes you just have to let things go and move on with your life.
Maybe the reason I'm not as inflamed about this blog the way others seem to be is because of some of the ridiculous reasons I've been banned for. At least these are legitimate reasons to ban somebody.
And about Hitler being a smart man with many smart quotes, use one of them for a signature or something. Yeah, the swastika is used as a symbol of peace but if you have to go out of your way to find out which direction it has to go to represent that peace symbol, I'm sure spreading peace was not your intentions. You know it's a controversial symbol; and what it is recognized as today, clockwise or counterclockwise, is not influenced by peace.
If anything, you should do some more research about the cultures that used the swastika as a peace sign rather than just use it as an excuse to stir people up.
I don't care for admins or the ban by discretion rule, but I agree with what's being said on this blog. I am for 3 strikes, though. Because some kids on here are sincerely clueless. After all, they're kids.
Finally somone posted this. I came back after awhile of being gone just to find a lot of people swearing, I was like "WHAT?!?!?! When I used to come here you got banned for saying ****" (Sorry for saying **** ) It seems as if a FEW admins arn't doing their jobs, or atleast not as well as they used to :/ For the bans I think the ban length/warnings should vary depending on what is posted. Hopfully this site gets back to itself, hate seeing swears everywhere. Good luck.
You can't expect everyone to suddenly behave. These are kids you are talking about. Kids misbehave all the time in real life so good lucking trying to explain to them how important it is to behave themselves on a website. They'll totally listen to some random on the internet. Yes this needs to stop but it won't. That's what happens when you make a site mainly for kids. And I'm not saying all kids hear are immature by the way. Sorry if I sound rude but its the truth.
I've heard this many times before.
"If you have to ask if something is allowed or not, assume that they are not until told otherwise."
Such as your 'W' or 'P' words. Seriously, if you have to ask or aren't sure, assume the negative.
I am also tired of the sexual remarks in the chatroom too. This really hasn't been addressed but people constantly talking about sex they never had is really innappropriate. This is a children's site. Yet, we let it slide a lot.
Quoth HappyKoala4:Before Hitler, the Swastika was originally a peace sign.
Internet does help. I did a couple reports on Hitler. He was a very smart man. Some of the quotes that I read from him are amazing. But he was just dead wrong about his views on society.
Before Hitler, the Swastika was originally a peace sign.

Quoth FlippenSchweetquote]Well that escalated quickly. I guess it's needed to keep the unworthy noobs off the site. Last thing I want is for 'Paint to turn into Xbox Live.

Quoth rayword45:I don't see why we can't use words like the other b-word or the w-word.
True, they no longer have the same meaning, but when was the last time ass was used to mean donkey or bastard to mean illegitimate son on this site? I see people go "That's one stupid-ass (noun)" or "Damn that girl got an ass" pretty often on this site.
Is that really more appropriate then saying, oh, "Stop (blank)ing over such a menial topic"?
W word?
Also, is prick allowed?

Lol to all the comments asking if a word is allowed.
If you have to ask, why use it? I'm sure you'll be able to get across what you're trying to say without it.
I don't see why we can't use words like the other b-word or the w-word.
