Carl Sagan (1934-1996), was an American astrophysicist, astrobiologist, agnostic, anti-nuclear weapons activist, space exploration supporter and - best known as - a science popularizer, chiefly from his role in the television series "Cosmos".



He was definitely my favorite astrophysicist (oh yeah!). He had a brilliant mind and could eloquently describe our universe. Given that even I was only 3 when he died due to complications because of cancer, most of you likely are unfamiliar with him and his greatness and fame, so I dedicate this blog to him and his beautiful and thought-provoking turns of phrase. :)~
